Day 1: Lima

Arrival in the city of Lima. You will receive assistance and be transferred to your hotel.

Lodging in Lima.

Meals: None.

Day 2: Lima 

FD Paracas: Ballestas Islands and Ica: Buggies & Sandboarding in Huacachina. 

Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Lima for the transfer to Paracas. Upon arrival in Paracas, we will board a boat for the sea tour to the Ballestas Islands. On the way, we will pass by the bay and port of San Martin and observe the famous Candelabro, a gigantic figure drawn in the sand, similar to the Nazca lines, visible only from the sea. Arriving at the islands, we will admire their impressive rock formations and the diversity of marine fauna that inhabits them, such as sea lions, guano birds and Humboldt penguins. Afterwards, we will return to the pier to continue our excursion. Then, we will head to the city of Ica, where we will have lunch at a well-known tourist restaurant (drinks not included). After lunch, we will visit the Huacachina Lagoon, where we will start an exciting adventure in a sand buggy through the desert and practice sandboarding in its dunes. At the end, we will return to the city of Lima.

Day 3: Lima / Cusco / Aguas Calientes

At the coordinated time departure to the airport to take the flight to the imperial city of Cusco, upon arrival you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel to leave your luggage. Then transfer to the train station, from where you will board one of the most spectacular trains, which will take you through picturesque Andean landscapes to the lush jungle and the charming town of Aguas Calientes. Assistance to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Cusco / Machu Picchu / Cusco

Live one of the most extraordinary experiences in the world at Machu Picchu. The adventure begins by boarding a bus that winds its way up the mountain to the top, where the breathtaking view of the citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the New 7 Wonders of the Modern World, awaits you. Take time to enjoy this majestic site, walking through its passages and alleyways, and marvel at the architectural grandeur of the Incas. After exploring and absorbing the magnificence of this incomparable site, you will descend to Aguas Calientes to replenish your energy with a nice lunch (drinks not included). At the appointed time, you will take the train back to Cusco, taking with you memorable memories.

Day 5: Cusco - City Tour & Archaeological Park.

In the morning, enjoy a fascinating tour that will allow you to admire the pre-Hispanic and colonial legacy of the city of Cusco. You will start with a visit to the Koricancha, the ancient Temple of the Sun dedicated to the Inca god Inti, on which stands the current convent of Santo Domingo. Then, marvel at the beauty of Cusco's Plaza de Armas where we will visit the imposing cathedral, one of the most important colonial jewels of Cusco, with beautiful altars, paintings of the Cusco School and wood carvings. You will continue exploring the surroundings of the city,

starting with the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman located on the outskirts of Cusco, famous for its huge blocks of stone perfectly fitted together. You will also visit the Kenko shrine, an Inca ceremonial center, with labyrinths and canals carved in stone, believed to have been used for religious rituals and mummifications, the Puka Pukará lookout, an ancient military post, which served as a place of surveillance and finally, Tambomachay, known as the “Baths of the Inca”, is famous for its water channels and fountains, suggesting that it may have been a place of water worship. Free afternoon in the city of Cusco.
